Baryn Futa has a special interest in contemporary art, and more specifically—time based media, which means video. But regardless of what type of art, what style, or who made it, Baryn Futa is a big believer in the idea that we could use more of it.
Baryn Futa was not always so interested in the fine arts. In fact, there was a time there he knew next to nothing about the subject. Before he retired, he had never put any thought, time, effort, or money into the fine arts. When he finally discovered the fine arts, after his retirement, he set about trying to learn about it voraciously. He read books, attended classes, watched seminars, went to festivals, and even started his own art collection. Today he lends pieces of that art collection out to museums and exhibitions from all over.
